To become a My Bella Color Hair Colorist Member, use the BECOME A MEMBER page to register.

Simply click on the REGISTER NOW! button. You will be asked to choose your Membership type.

There is an INDIVIDUAL and a SALON Membership.

As an Individual, you will receive Access to all Member Only areas and ONE HAIR COLORIST web page LISTING on the Hair Colorist Locator search engine.

Salon Members receive 5 - HAIR COLORIST web page LISTINGS on the Hair Colorist Locator search engine.

This means that an Individual creates ONE page and a Salon Membership can have 5 web pages, ONE for each (a total of 5) Colorists.

You will be asked to enter an email address that will be used as your USER NAME and a PASSWORD.

This is the EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD that you will use to SIGN IN to your My Bella Color account PLEASE WRITE IT DOWN!

The email that you enter will also AUTOMATICALLY APPEAR ON your Hair Colorist web page and will be the way that potential, New Clients will email you!

When the Profile page appears you will also be placing your First and Last Name, Salon Name, Address, City, State and Zip code, email and phone number into your My Bella Color Hair Colorist web page that will APPEAR on your Hair Colorist Locator web page.

You will also be entering additional text and pictures into your web page. To GET MORE HELP WITH DESIGNING YOUR WEB PAGE USE THE TEMPLATE HOW TO instructions page.

If you have a Discount Code, DO make certain to enter that code, as it will provide you with a discounted rate on your Membership.

With heavy promotional campaigns occurring, you may have seen or received a Discount Code.

Discount Codes were promoted to existing My Bella Color e-newsletters registrants as the new My Bella Color site was announced.

Discount Codes are presented in promotional advertisements that you may have received in the mail, email, through an online promotion or seen in a Stylist newspaper. You may have also received a phone call from a My Bella Color Sales Rep.

Discount Codes are also awarded to Stylists that have previously purchased* the "Panels & Chunks" DVD. If you have previously purchased the "Panels & Chunks" DVD and have NOT yet registered, then you may request a Discount Code, by using the Contact Us page. *Proof of purchase info is required on the Contact page.

If you have already signed up as a My Bella Color Member and did not use a Discount Code, we apologize, but we are unable to alter any existing Membership Registration rate.

Any Licensed Cosmetologist who loves to color hair can sign up for the My Bella Color Membership! With or without a code, you can always sign up!

Once you register without a Discount Code we are unable to alter any existing Membership rate.

There are 4 different plans available. You can choose to subscribe: Quarterly (every 3 months), Bi-Yearly (every 6 months), 1 year (every year), or 2 years (every 2 years) as an Individual (1 Colorist) or Salon (5 Colorists)

The discounted rate for an Individual Membership Quarterly Plan is only $35 per month.
The discounted rate for an Individual Membership Bi-Yearly Plan is only $25 per month.
The discounted rate for an Individual Membership Yearly Plan is only $20 per month.
The discounted rate for an Individual Membership 2 Year Plan is only $15 per month.

The discounted rate for a Salon Membership Quarterly Plan is only $50 per month.
The discounted rate for a Salon Membership Bi-Yearly Plan is only $40 per month.
The discounted rate for a Salon Membership Yearly Plan is only $35 per month.
The discounted rate for a Salon Membership 2 Year Plan is only $30 per month.

Discount codes average a savings of 10% on Quarterly, 20% on Bi-Yearly, 25% on yearly, and 30% on 2 Year regular priced plans.

The date you purchase your Membership Subscription will be the start date of your timed plan. Every subscription is automatically renewed unless your Membership is cancelled.

You can always return to the My Profile page later by using the MY TEMPLATE link under MEMBERS.

What are the TITLE TAG, META DESCRIPTION AND META KEYWORDS I am asked to enter on the My Profile page?

This information is VITAL to helping other Search Engines read your My Bella Color Member Hair Colorist web page!

The TITLE TAG will appear as the TITLE of your Hair Colorist web page! It should be no longer than 35 characters.
The TITLE will also appear on the TOP of the BROWSER BAR as someone is looking at your Hair Colorist web page.

Enter a TITLE such as this: John Doe, Hair Colorist, Seattle, WA.

The META DESCRIPTION TAG is the real life description of YOUR HAIR COLORIST WEB PAGE! And is what appears under your TITLE on other search engine result pages. It is also what appears as someone hits their browser "back" button leading back to your Hair Colorist web page

The META TAGS are word phrases that search engines read. These key word phrases must describe your Hair Color work, location and any other pertinent data about your Hair Coloring Skills and how someone can locate you! These words should ALSO be included in the TEXT description you place on your Hair Colorist web page. Meta tags are separated my commas such as this: "John Doe Hair Colorist, Seattle, WA Hair Salon, The Name of Your Salon, specializing in Hair Color correction, foil highlights, foiling lowlights," etc.

The META DESCRIPTION, META WORD TAGS and your TEXT are what other search engines search. If this information matches the search criteria, then your page will show in their results*!* We can not guarantee that your Hair Colorist web page will appear on the first page of other search engines results pages. We can, however, do our best to help you build the best possible, search-engine-friendly web page!

The HAIR COLORIST LOCATOR search engine will use your CITY and STATE to help Hair Color Clients in your surrounding area find you! Other search engines will use your META and TEXT entries.

You will then enter your First and Last name. You will also enter in your Salon Name, Address and Salon State, City and Zip.

The email you used to sign up for your My Bella Color Hair Colorist Membership is automatically placed in the email field.

Enter the phone number you want NEW Hair Color Clients to call! This is the phone on which you accept Hair Coloring appointments.

After you have entered your phone number, the next form field box is for you to enter the TEXT that is going to appear on your web page

The larger box with the tiny arrow on the upper left hand corner is the TEXT BOX! Here is where you will type in the text that appears ON your HAIR COLORIST WEBPAGE!

As you type you can use the tiny arrow to choose the TEXT toolbar to change the text FONT, STYLE, SIZE, COLOR, ALIGNMENT, etc.

You will be able to VIEW your HAIR COLORIST WEB PAGE once you have completed this first step and are again SIGNED IN AND ACCESS YOUR MY TEMPLATE PAGE!

At this point of the Membership SIGN UP, most new Members do not have their 10 photos ready to upload. And that is TOTALLY OKAY! Because you will have the chance to upload, change, remove photos whenever you want from your Hair Colorist web page!

So, you can either upload your pictures that will appear on your Hair Colorist web page at this point of creating your My Bella Color Membership OR you can click on the COMPLETE SIGN UP button now and come back and upload pictures to your web page by using the My Template link under the Members Menu.

To ensure your web page has excellent quality photos uploaded to it we suggest that you first create your images and then upload them later.

At this point in the My Profile, simply save your My Profile page my clicking on the COMPLETE SIGN UP button at the bottom of the My Profile page.

You will be able to continue editing your web page text, title, description, meta tags and add, change, remove photos whenever you want!

You can place up to 10 photos onto your web page!

We advise you use a picture of yourself, your salon, your hair color work, some of your clients and other photos that pertain to your Hair Coloring Career.

If you do not have professional looking pictures, then it may be worth your while to have someone that you know take some great shots of you, your Salon, some of your Hair Color work, your Hair Color Clients and anything else you would like a NEW Hair Color Client to see!

The presentation quality should be very professional! To help you create the highest quality photos we have provided you with the TEMPLATE HOW TO page which gives more details on creating your photos!

All 10 photos should each be sized at 72 dpi and should be 200 pixels wide by 195 pixels high.

You can use a photo software program to do change the Image Size. If you can not achieve the exact pixel width and height, then try to stay UNDER in measurement not OVER! And do make certain that the dpi does NOT exceed 72 dpi. Pictures that are 300dpi take too long to upload, and this will make your Hair Colorist web page SLOW to load!

When you are resizing and SAVING your photos, it also wise to name your photo something that makes sense to the search engines! Such as "John Doe Seattle Hair Coloring results.jpg". Name each photo something different and do try to use UNDERSCORE (like this _ ) in between words, like this: "John_Doe_ Seattle_Hair_Coloring_results.jpg".

Save you photos as a .jpg at no more than 72 dpi with a NAME that makes sense (with underscores between words)!

Save all of the photos you want to upload to your Hair Colorist web page in a folder on your desktop. That way, you can easily locate the pictures any time you want to make changes to your web page

You can enter partial info and still click on CONTINUE WITH SIGN UP.

At this point of the Membership SIGN UP, most new Members do not have their META words or the 10 photos ready to upload. And that is TOTALLY OKAY!

You will have the chance to add the META information, TEXT, upload, change, remove photos whenever you want from accessing the MEMBER ACCESS page by SIGNING IN again with the email and password you used to create your My Bella Color Hair Colorist Membership.

So, you can either fill in the META and TEXT data, upload your pictures at this point of creating your My Bella Color Membership OR you can click on the COMPLETE SIGN UP button now and come back and upload pictures to your web page by using the My Template link under the Members Menu.

At this point in the My Profile, simply SAVE your My Profile page my clicking on the COMPLETE SIGN UP button at the bottom of the My Profile page.

EACH TIME YOU ACCESSED YOUR MY TEMPLATE AND MAKE CHANGES ALWAYS MAKE CERTAIN TO CLICK ON SUBMIT TO SAVE YOUR CHANGES!

You are automatically taken to the My Template page.

This is the MY TEMPLATE section of your Membership.

You can VIEW and EDIT your web page here.

EACH TIME YOU ACCESSED YOUR MY TEMPLATE AND MAKE CHANGES ALWAYS MAKE CERTAIN TO CLICK ON SUBMIT TO SAVE YOUR CHANGES!

Whether complete with your web page template or not, you can exit the My Template page and come back to ACCESS your Membership Account through the MEMBERS MENU at any time.

The MEMBER ACCESS page gives you LINKS to your MY ACCOUNT, MY TEMPLATE, PRODUCTS and the FORUM.

You can LOGIN TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT THROUGH MEMBER ACCESS/MEMBER SIGN IN.

YOU CAN LOGOUT of your ACCOUNT through the MEMERBS MENU/ LOG OUT.

As a Member, you will have access to ALL features on the My Bella Color site.

Under MEMBERS go to the MEMBER ACCESS submenu button and sign in.

You will then have access to the Member's Only areas - and this includes DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS, the FORUM, your Template, and your Account renewal info.

Anyone can take the MEMBER TOUR at any time! You can locate the TOUR through the ABOUT or MEMBERS menus.

To keep informed as to the latest additions to the My Bella Color site, you can always visit the My Bella Color BLOG.

All pages that are available to Members and Non-Members appear without the need to sign in.

If you are not a Member, then you will not be able to create a Hair Colorist web page, enjoy Discounted educational Products, and/or sign in to the Hair Colorist Forum.
